How can drawing be applied for thinking within your educational practice? Come and talk through ideas

Exploring self-ageing through participatory drawing
R201 Wed 6 Feb at 1pm.
All are welcome!
Unlike children, adults are usually nervous when asked to draw. Curie created a four week Drawing Programme where participants used expressive drawing to think about their future ageing. Participants included health professional students and people over 60 from the public who worked together through each drawing workshop. The core question was “What happens when you draw?”. Drawing enabled people to open up to an embodied and transformational place of knowing on the emotive topic of getting older.
This 1hr in-conversation slot is a chance to talk about what drawing can offer for speaking about difficult topics. It is relevant to research, education and health professional practice.
