We are currently aware of an issue affecting audio feedback (“Voice comments”) with Turnitin assignments.
Voice comments must be recorded using Firefox or Safari browsers
Issue
Where audio feedback (“Voice comments”) has been recorded by staff on a student assignment using Chrome or Edge browsers will be distorted when played back.
Workaround
Until this issue is resolved, you must use the Firefox or Safari (Mac) browser when recording Turnitin voice comments.
If you have recorded Turnitin voice comments recently we advise that you check a few of your recordings to make sure they are ok. Unfortunately if your recordings have been affected by this issue they cannot be fixed and must be re-recorded.
