Quicklinks removed
As a part of some of the improved features that have been applied to taught units in Brightspace, which include the new Updates widget and Unit overview widget, we have needed to remove the quicklinks widget to keep the unit homepages from becoming too busy.
The quicklinks widget provided links and guidance for adding staff and content when preparing units. All of our guidance for preparing units is now available in the Brightspace Staff Resources area on Brightspace under Unit Preparation Guidance. Just as a quick reference the quicklinks pointed at the following areas which are available from the unit’s Nav Bar.
- Add Staff – Communication > Classlist
- Add Content – Content
- Import Content – Unit Admin > Import/Export/Copy Components
