Elvira’s research covers the digital aspects of businesses and consumers.
Research expertise and professional practice cover digital marketing – in particular, digital strategy, social media management and analytics, creative content management, influencing-followers relationships, and trust repair and transparency in various industries including online gambling and the gaming sector.
Her gambling and trust repair related projects received funding from GambleAware, the National Centre for Responsible Gaming and the Academy of Marketing. Her work has been published in multiple international outlets including the Journal of Marketing Management, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing and Qualitative Market Research: An International.
Elvira is also the Director of Accreditation for the Business School and Faculty of Management.
Her media experience includes articles in The Conversation, The Times, Business Insider (Italia), Mid-Day (India), The National and being interviewed by BBC World Service.
