FLIE Learning and Teaching conference 2025 – Abstracts and Poster submissions

Our annual Learning and Teaching conference is taking place on Monday 7 July 2025 in collaboration with the 4th European Team-based Learning Symposium at BU. The event will include speakers, poster presentations, panel discussions, demonstrations and more. 

Staff are invited to showcase their Learning and Teaching practices in the form of posters and short presentations that will be included in a conference proceeding (with ISBN). 

Your submission can reflect on themes relating to your pedagogical approach in enhancing student learning, including but not limited to:

  • Innovative Pedagogies for the practice and engaging learners 
  • Leveraging AI and other digital technologies in transformative education 
  • Assessment and Feedback for deeper learning 
  • Empowering students as co-creators of knowledge  
  • Equity and Inclusion in learning 
  • Sustainability in education practices 
  • Lifelong learning and employability skills for the future 
  • Practices to engage learners and learning  
  • Enhancing approaches for embedding KSBs for Apprenticeship learners 
  • Partnership and Transnational Education
  • Enriching the student experience, personal engagement, enhancing programme and cohort community 
  • Team-based learning (this theme is in collaboration with the European Team-based Learning Community Symposium at BU being held at the same time and the Abstract submission deadline for this event is 30th April 2025) 

Key dates

Submit your Pecha Kucha Abstract and digital Poster submissions for the Learning and Teaching Conference by 2nd June 2025 to fusionlearning@bournemouth.ac.uk.
