TeachBU is our accredited program by Advance HE, providing BU staff and PGRs the opportunity to seek recognition in the Associate Fellow, Fellow, and Senior Fellow categories. The prestigious Advance HE Fellowship serves as a widely recognised teaching qualification, relying on the submission of reflective case studies that delve into your contributions to teaching and learning in the Higher Education sector.
Throughout the academic year, we have multiple submission dates. To apply, please complete the relevant application form and submit it to TeachBU@bournemouth.ac.uk. Note that we exclusively accept applications through our TeachBU application forms, incurring no cost for staff and PGRs. Successful applicants will receive the same certificate from Advance HE as if they had applied directly.
For those who have already completed Senior Fellow and looking for the next step there is some further information for you about applying for Principal Fellow. If you’ve earned accolades such as a VC award or if your students commend you are brilliant, why not consider applying for a National Teaching Fellowship. There are workshops for applicants interested in either of these options.
