We are currently aware of an issue with Turnitin voice comments where feedback that has been recorded after 25 November using Chrome or Edge browsers will be distorted when played back.
Until this issue is resolved, you must use the Firefox or Safari (Mac) browser when recording Turnitin voice comments. Note that when using Firefox on a BU device, you will get a warning when you log into Brightspace that the browser is out of date, for the purpose of recording Turnitin voice comments only, this warning can be ignored. For any other activities we would still advise that you use a compatible browser.
If you have recorded Turnitin voice comments recently we advise that you check a few of your recordings to make sure they are ok. Unfortunately if your recordings have been affected by this issue they cannot be fixed and must be re-recorded.
Turnitin support are currently working to resolve this issue as soon as possible, we will keep you updated on the progress.
