Do you want to develop your confidence in technology enhanced learning? Been wanting to add a little bit of something extra to your classes? Just need some space to learn a new skill or have time to reflect and think?
If so, we have just the solution for YOU! Next month sees the start of the PG Dip unit in Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL): Creativity in Design that’s aimed at staff wishing to develop their use of TEL.
The unit runs between 25th October 2017 and 6th December 2017 and is facilitated by David Biggins (Academic Learning Designer) and Ann Luce (CEL Theme Leader for Technology Enhanced Learning).
The unit ran for the first time in Spring 2017. Your colleagues had this to say:
“I have started to feel more comfortable and a bit more of an insider in social media etc and have a bit more confidence to try it.”
“Personally, this will allow to me grow as an educator. For my team, it allows me to develop expertise in TEL that I can share with colleagues.”
“Each session helps me refine my own practice and education research a bit more :-)”
There are two ways to engage in the unit:
- Colleagues may attend as CPD
- Colleagues can choose to enrol on the unit either as a stand alone, or as part of the PGDip level of the MA Education Practice.

Great, love to come but why does this start at 12:00?
Those of us that would benefit most are those with a lot of teaching, correct?
