Professor Holley is an expert in augmented, virtual and mixed reality innovations; her research interests include the framing of innovation for formal and informal learning contexts. By seeking digital solutions to enable learning at a place and time of the learners’ choice, her digital scholarship draws on a sustained body of pedagogic research.
A passionate educator, Debbie is a JISC ‘Digital Expert’, a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a National Teaching Fellow. On the National Steering Group for the Association of Learning Developers in HE (ALDinHE) she advocates for the use and re-use of Open Educational Resources; she is an experienced keynote speaker, and writes extensively on educational futures as well as how to embed technologies into our contemporary teaching spaces.
