Bronwen is Director of the Centre for the Study of Journalism, Culture and Community at BU and has published widely on narrative theory, contemporary literature, digital writing and reading, and online communities. She recently led a project examining the effects of digitization on readers and reading.
Current projects involve a study of literature and social media, and research on digital repositories for the digital arts.
Bronwen has been interviewed for an article on textspeak by the Southern Daily Echo and for the Spark programme on CBBC about Twitterfiction.
