The importance of the ‘Event name’ for Supervisor meetings

We recently shared guidance on the process for capturing attendance at Supervisor meetings on project/dissertation units for UG and PGT students. Just a reminder that it’s important to follow the guidance and populate the name of your event with the title  ‘Supervisor meeting’ followed by your initials:

Remember to change the Event name to ‘Supervisor meeting’ followed by your initials

If the Event name isn’t updated, JISC LA will default to using the unit name that the session is linked to (which will be quite lengthy if it’s attached to more than one unit, and will also be the same as any other supervisor meetings that other staff are recording for the unit!). Updating the Event name will make it easier to identify these sessions in the calendar on the Events page.
