Invitation to the National Teaching Fellow workshop
Welcome from Dr Geli Roushan, Head of FLIE, and workshop facilitated by BU National Teaching Fellows Dr Mel Hughes and Professor Debbie Holley.
Interested staff for this year and those interested in preparing for next year are warmly welcome to attend. Both academic and professional staff can be nominated, and those from underrepresented groups are encouraged to participate in the scheme. Fractional staff can be nominated.
The purpose of the National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) is to recognise, reward and celebrate individuals working in UK higher education (HE) who have made an outstanding impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession. FLIE have the key role in developing and promoting the scheme, and selecting the individuals (up to three) who go forward annually. FLIE hold the formal instituional links with AdvanceHE, who run this award, and support the application process.
