Thank you to those who attended FLIE’s AI summit last week – we hope you enjoyed the presentations and the vibrant discussions that followed. 🙂
Prof Liz Falconer shared how she has been enriching her online course tuition through the use of Harry, her AI chat bot designed to prompt students’ reflective practice through the use of Socratic questioning. Dr Chris Trace from the University of Surrey talked about their AI journey and how they are supporting staff and students with using these tools. Academic Quality updated on data and policy at BU. And FLIE and the Library team shared some of the support they have put in place in this area for BU staff and students.
If you missed it, we’ll be sharing the slides shortly on our GenAI Resource Hub (under the Events area) and planning is already underway for another event early next year.
