The Discussions tool is a really useful way to direct student enquiries to one space, and to allow all the students on a unit to view responses to queries. If you’re using discussion boards in this way, you’ll need to monitor the interactions so that you can review activity and provide timely responses.
Brightspace will not send you an email when there are new posts or replies, but you can be alerted to discussion board activity through both Brightspace and the Brightspace Pulse app.
