National Teaching Fellow Scheme session: Wednesday 29th November

Do your students think “You are brilliant?” Have you been nominated for a VC award? Do you share your teaching expertise on Professional and Regulatory Bodies?

Then this session is for you! Come along to our National Teaching Fellowship ‘Getting started’ session and find out if this is an award for you, this academic year or in future. FLIE with institutional NTF award holders Dr Holly Henderson (2022) Prof Mel Hughes (2020) and Prof Debbie Holley (2014) are supporting our nominees.

The National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) recognises, rewards and celebrates individuals who have made an outstanding impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession.  50 excellent educators each year are awarded their NTF at an annual national celebration event. Each institution can submit up to three nominations, including academic, part-time and professional service staff – it’s all about excellence in supporting our students.

The NTFS nominations close at 12.00 noon (GMT) Wednesday 13th March 2024, submissions via FLIE who are our AdvanceHE Teaching Excellence institutional contacts.

The ‘Getting Started’ session runs on Wednesday 29th November. There will be a follow-on session Wednesday 31st January 2024 to support those wanting to complete their nomination forms for this round, or indeed make a start for the following round.

We look forward to working with you, Geli, Holly, Mel and Debbie
