Webinar: TEACHING COMPUTATION MADE EASY,  WITH MATLABDate: Wednesday, July 12th, 2023 at 14:00Location:  MS Teams

In this webinar, delivered by Mathworks, they will cover topics such as importing data from multiple sources, 3D surface fitting, and optimisation, demonstrating how newcomers to programming can handle these tasks without extensive coding knowledge using MATLAB’s low code tools such as live scripts, interactive controls, live tasks and apps. So teaching staff can focus on teaching the more important details without getting distracted by the programming.

Webinar Highlights

  • Introduction to live scripts and interactive controls
  • Including interactive live tasks in scripts as an alternative to writing code
  • Generating code from apps
  • Introduction to tools for a wide range of subjects including signal processing, image processing, computational biology, machine learning, and control system design.
By the end of the webinar, you will have a better understanding of how to save time and write more efficient code using MATLAB’s low code tools.

Further help and guidance

BU has a campus-wide licence for MATLAB and Simulink, meaning these tools are available to all staff and students.
