Ideas for using Mentimeter

  • icebreaker activities
  • increasing engagement
  • checking knowledge and understanding
  • consolidating learning
  • gauging opinions and prompting debate
  • formative assessment and feedback

All responses are anonymous, encouraging students to engage with the polls and making it a great tool for use with larger cohorts. And BU’s institutional licence means Mentimeter polls and quizzes can also be created by students.
