It’s that time of year when lots of people are involved in marking student assignment submissions. A reminder that there is lots of online guidance available to help you through the process, especially if this is something you haven’t done for a while.
From the Brightspace Staff Resources area you can search on Guidance by Theme. Select ‘Assessment and Feedback’ to find information on:
- marking with Turnitin
- marking large or multiple file submissions
- marking presentations, practicals or portfolios
- using rubrics
- anonymous marking including second marking processes
- Team marking
New assignment marking experience
If you haven’t done any marking since the Summer, you’ll also notice Brightspace’s updated assignment evaluation experience. The main improvements include a cleaner layout of the screen and the updated text editor for adding feedback. You can find out more about the improvements on a recent FLIE blog:
