Brightspace has now been updated so that student notifications for Announcements are set by default to be sent by email. This means that students no longer need to customise their own notifications to receive announcements by email, and staff can be confident that when they post announcements, students will be alerted to these via Brightspace notifications, Pulse App and email, as well as the announcement being visible on the unit homepage.
As a part of this update, students now have a new widget on their homepage which shows their primary notification settings and invites them to customise the settings further as they choose.
