Along with my colleagues Dr Geli Roushan (FLIE/MSI) and Helen O’Sullivan (MSI), and Dr Julia Taylor (Doctoral College), I am delighted to have our paper entitled “An Innovative Framework for Higher Education to Evaluate Learning Gain: A Case Study Based Upon the Discipline of Marketing” accepted for publication in the 3 Star journal “Studies in Higher Education”.
This is the first paper published using the model for evaluating learning gain of undergraduate students developed at BU, which makes this paper really important for our research.
The model itself combines the distance travelled by a student (explicit knowledge), and the journey travelled (tacit understanding), to provide an indication of student learning, which we then used as a driver for enhancing our teaching.
