Meliora: International Symposium of Student Sustainability Research – 13 April 2018 – University of Southampton

Calling for students interested in sustainability – apologies for cross-posting

=====

Come and join us at the third annual ‘Meliora International Symposium of Student Sustainability Research’, held at the University of Southampton on 13 April 2018!

Each year, students from across the UK and the rest of the world, attend and present their research at this prestigious International Symposium, and have the opportunity to submit work for publication in the Meliora International Journal of Student Sustainability Research as part of a Symposium Special Edition.

The focus of the symposium is the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students from all courses in every academic area can relate their work to the SDGs.  We confidently predict that your Research Dissertation relates to at least one of them!

If you wish to present at the Symposium you will need to complete a Presenter Application Form and indicate which of the SDGs your work relates to. Please note, you can present remotely via skype if you are unable to attend in person, and you can present initial findings if your work will not be complete by 13 April.

You can also apply to chair a session, join the social media team, be a judge, and be part of the event team on the day through the Meliora Symposium Team Form.

We welcome applications to present, and registrations for attendance from Undergraduate and Postgraduate Masters students across all academic areas and from all universities around the world.  Please register your attendance through Eventbrite or through the Facebook page.

Please email meliora@soton.ac.uk if you have any questions about the symposium or our student research journal.  We look forward to welcoming you to the University of Southampton on Friday 13 April 2018!
