January Theme Leader Drop In Sessions

These sessions are tailored to YOU! Come along with your question, problem or concern and we’ll help you solve them!

Technology Enhanced Learning (Dr Ann Luce)

We all need a little help from time-to-time when it comes to using technology in the classroom. These drop in sessions are available to support colleagues with your technology needs, whether it’s learning how to use a particular programme, or just a discussion about how technology can be added into the classroom or an assessment.

By the end of your session, we hope you will feel more confident using technology in your classroom, be it as a learning tool, an assessment tool, or just for a bit of fun! You’ll also know where to turn to for help, support and guidance in the future when it comes to technology enhanced learning!

Assessment and Feedback (Dr Shelley Thompson)

Sometimes it helps to talk through assessment approaches, bounce ideas off someone to innovate an assignment or exam on your unit, or think about new ways to embed formative feedback in your teaching. These sessions are designed to support colleagues with questions about assessment and feedback (formative and summative), whether at unit, programme or department level.

The sessions are designed to help you with the questions you have about assessment, feedback and feedforward. By the end of the session, we hope that you will feel confident about trying something different with assessment and feedback and know what resources are available to support you with assessment and feedback.
