The Fair Access Research project (FAR) has developed some guidance to support Academic Advisers when they are working with widening participation (WP) students.
The results of a FAR staff survey in 2016 highlighted the vital role that Academic Advisers play in supporting members of staff in their engagement with WP students. The FAR team worked with BU colleagues to develop this Guidance Document which has been produced to support the Academic Advisers in the implementation of good practice.
The document has now been disseminated and embedded within the Faculties for their general use
