We are delighted to announce the launch of BU’s TEL Toolkit.

The toolkit – created by BU staff, for BU staff – has been developed to support you in the application of TEL, including information on ‘what’, ‘how’ and ‘who’ to approach for more information.

To find out more about how the TEL Toolkit can help enhance your teaching and your students’ learning experience, come along to one of our launch events, taking place during the week commencing Monday 1 February.

Next week also sees the launch of the digital skills self-assessment which will be an online questionnaire, anonymous if preferred, which will help those involved in TEL to reflect on their levels of confidence across a range of tools and other digital skills.  This will be the first time that we have sought to create a comprehensive picture of the digital skill landscape and will be used to tailor the workshops, services and support offered to academics.  We hope that most academics will complete the questionnaire which will take only 10 – 15 minutes.  A small investment of academic time that can have significant benefits for academic staff.
