A reminder to book your place on the latest Higher Education Academy enhancement event that will take place at the East Midland Conference Centre, Nottingham on 11 June 2015.   Bookings are now open for:

A Brave New World – Higher Education 2020, a one day simulation.

The date is 11 June 2020 and it is your induction day for your new academic post at Futura University. The Vice-Chancellor will welcome you and set out this new University’s priorities for learning and teaching. You will then join with colleagues in your Faculty:

  • STEM;
  • Arts and Humanities;
  • The Social Sciences;
  • Health and Social Care;
  • Learning Support.

You will form task and finish groups in order to explore challenges and opportunities for Futura, and to determine how you will transform the Vice-Chancellor’s vision into reality. Thinking about Principal Fellowship: Strategic leadership of learning and teaching

This workshop will be of significant benefit to highly experienced and/or senior staff considering applying for Principal Fellowship of the HEA. Led by senior academics at the HEA, the session will raise your understanding of and engagement with the UKPSF, and give you the opportunity to reflect on your professional practice to begin your application for Principal Fellowship. ARR masterclass: Making internal recognition decisions

Join us for this one-day masterclass designed to provide support to those with institutional responsibility for making professional recognition decisions within HEA accredited provision.
Participants will explore the requirements for each category of recognition, consider the emerging sector standards and trends, review example applications and discuss evidence provided. Through following this process an awareness of the standards required within HEA direct application recognition decisions will be developed that will be invaluable for those making professional recognition decisions within their institutions.  To book on this event, please visit the event webpage.
