CIPPM supports a range of specialist postgraduate courses in Intellectual Property Law and management accredited by the Joint Education Board of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) and the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA).
Core is the Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property (PG Cert IP) that is available in flexible delivery, requiring attendance for only three block weekends (Thursday afternoon until Saturday evening). The PG Cert IP offers full exemptions from the CIPA/CITMA Joint Education Board foundation papers.
The LLM Intellectual Property extends the PG Cert and requires full time attendance at BU for two units of the course with the third unit being available via distance learning.
CIPPM also contributes to the one-year LLM International Commercial Law (in traditional campus delivery) which has a strong focus on international intellectual property law.
CIPPM is part of the Pan-European Seal, a programme of paid traineeships in conjunction with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the the European Patent Office (EPO).
