Visiting Fellow
Rebecca is a Visiting Research Fellow specializing in IT and Media Law. She has taught on data protection and intellectual property modules at Masters level for 10 years at the Nottingham Law School and have supervised both Masters and Doctoral students with their research projects.
As well as publishing widely in Law international journals, she has recently completed a book dealing with Data Security Breaches in Europe, published by Springer. She guest-edited a special issue dealing with Identity and Privacy Issues between 2007-8 in the International Journal of Intellectual Property Management and contributed to a Special Issue on Privacy and Surveillance dealing with social networking developments in the Birbeck Law Review (2014).
Her research interests include: cyberlaw, intellectual property including trade marks and data protection.
