BU EdD student and PDA, Vianna Renaud, has just been appointed to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Workplace Executive Committee (https://www.bacp.co.uk/bacp-divisions/bacp-workplace/). This aligns with her doctoral research which aims to explore and develop ways of improving student confidence and overall well-being through a peer-to-peer employability coaching and mentoring programme.
Vianna comments: “Whilst the focus of my doctoral studies is within the Higher Education sector, by being part of the Executive I will be able to see the wider perspective of employability and mental health within the working world, with the opportunity to contribute to related policy and procedure for the government. This is also relevant to my work as a Placement Development Advisor and coach here at BU”.
