For its 15,000 partner institutions and 30 million students worldwide, Turnitin is changing both how it looks and how it integrates with other systems.

 The new version of the interface, called “Turnitin Feedback Studio”, offers all the functionalities of Turnitin GradeMark and Originality Reports, but with a simplified, more intuitive interface. This change will present a cleaner and more user-friendly design that brings the marking and feedback interface up to date with the current Turnitin iPad app interface.

Over the next 12 months, Turnitin will be working on how best to integrate these improvements with their partner institutions’ existing systems. Longer term, Turnitin’s providers are developing technology to simplify the integration of future upgrades. In the interim however, this will mean a change in workflow that may differ to the way BU staff usually access and manage marking and feedback.

What does the change mean to BU users?

If you are a Brightspace user, instructions are being prepared as part of a wider support pack, available within Brightspace and on BU’s TEL Toolkit before the start of the new academic year 2017/2018.
