Succeed at BU is BU’s student retention and success strategy and toolkit. It is currently being developed, with support from the HEA Strategic Innovation Programme.

Succeed at BU will provide a summary of best practice with practical actions, case studies and a toolkit for BU as a whole, individual staff and students. The core areas of student success conceptualised in Succeed@BU are:

• Student Inclusion
• Student Engagement
• Student Achievement and
• Student Retention

Succeed at BU will provide a summary of the evidence and actions in each of the four areas of success and acts as an umbrella for a range of initiatives, such as developments in the student induction programme, student engagement through Engagin’ U, the inclusive curriculum community and enhancing assessment in BU. A linked HEA-funded project will develop on-line tools for supporting student engagement with co-curricular learning and personal development.
