Faculty LT weekly drop-in days and times

For semester 1 this year, attendance capture was introduced across all levels for taught curricular sessions whereby attendance is captured by teaching staff at the start of a session using the JISC Learning Analytics platform. If you weren’t teaching during semester 1 or just need to a refresher on the steps involved, this is covered in our ‘Managing the start of teaching sessions’ guide.

This guidance also includes the steps involved for recording teaching sessions, so if you don’t normally record your teaching sessions but are teaching a Level 7 January 2024 intake then take a look at the ‘Start of session workflow‘ which will help you get set up and onto delivering your session as quickly as possible.

Learning Technologist Support

As we head into Semester 2, we just wanted to remind you of the help and support available to you from your Faculty Learning Technologist.

Your LT can help you make the most of Brightspace and other digital tools. Maybe you’d like some guidance on getting your units set up for Semester 2, or maybe you just need a quick reminder of how to copy content across from other units.

Each LT is available at a weekly drop-in within faculty areas. No need to book, you can just pop along with your questions.
