At TeachBU, we’re dedicated to providing continuous support and development opportunities for our community. As we move into the new academic year, we have a range of engaging sessions planned for September, October, and November. Whether you’re looking to enhance your mentoring skills, seek guidance for fellowship applications, or engage in insightful Q&A sessions, we have something for everyone. Here’s a look at what’s coming up in September:

September

  • Teach BU Assessor & Mentor Training
    • Date: Thursday, 3rd September
    • Time: 10-11 AM
    • Location: Face-to-Face (F2F)

Kick off September with our Assessor Mentor Training session. This face-to-face session is designed to equip mentors with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively guide and support their mentees. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your mentoring abilities and make a positive impact on your peers.

  • Teach BU Online Q and A
    • Date: Thursday, 12th September
    • Time: 12-1 PM
    • Location: Microsoft Teams

Join us online for an interactive Q&A session. This is a perfect chance to get your questions answered, share your experiences, and learn from others in the TeachBU community.

  • Teach BU RefectEd
    • Date: Thursday, 12th September
    • Time: 1-2 PM
    • Location: Microsoft Teams

Following the Q&A, stay on Teams for RefectEd, where we’ll dive into reflective educational practices. This session aims to provide insights and practical tips to enhance your teaching and learning strategies.

  • Teach BU Assessor Mentor Training Sessions (PSF 2023) – (F2F)
    • Date: Thursday, 26th September
    • Time: 10-11 AM
    • Location: Face-to-Face (F2F)

Another opportunity for mentor training, focusing on the PSF 2023 framework. Strengthen your mentoring skills and prepare to support colleagues through their professional development journeys.

  • Teach BU Fellowship Applicant Sessions (F2F)
    • Date: Thursday, 26th September
    • Time: 11 AM – 12 PM
    • Location: Face-to-Face (F2F)

Immediately following the mentor training, join our Fellowship Applicant Session. Get valuable advice and support to help you through the fellowship application process.
