Now that the email notifications from Brightspace announcements have been turned off, a reminder of how you can email students enrolled on a unit (or programme area or community) via the Classlist to communicate important information.
It’s important to note that Brightspace email notifications were disabled to reduce the number of emails received by students, which has been frequently mentioned as a problem in student feedback, so consider first whether email is the best channel for your message. We would strongly encourage students to sign up for Push Notifications via the Pulse app to ensure they receive their latest Brightspace updates, and important Announcements can always be pinned to the top of units.
