Here are a few of the wonderful PGCert cohort from 2017-18 on BU’s staff celebration event.
The PG Cert enables those teaching and supporting learning in a post-compulsory education environment to develop their knowledge and skills as educators. It is particularly helpful if you are new to teaching and wanting to learn about pedagogical approaches. Through the exploration of scholarly approaches, the PG Cert will enhance your understanding of educational approaches that contribute to developing students as self-motivated, independent, life-long learners and develop a professional, reflective approach to your educational practice. This includes all areas of academic practice, including teaching and learning support, assessment, curriculum development, educational research, learning technologies and academic leadership.
We next start in September 2019 on Thursdays 9-1pm at our Talbot campus.
There are three units spanning the year. Successful completion of the PG Cert leads automatically to Higher Education Academy (HEA) fellowship
