New for this academic year, a mid-year Service Excellence Conference is being held on Wednesday 19 December.
The conference, which will be held in the Fusion Building on Talbot Campus is a fantastic opportunity for academics across BU to gain a better understanding of the great service excellence delivered in all areas of BU. Academics who have attended in previous years have found the conference inspiring and a great way to meet colleagues and identify areas for collaborations with other colleagues at BU. It will also be an opportunity to celebrate all the wonderful work we do at BU in the run up to Christmas.
This will be a full day event to focus on the refreshed approach to our vision as we enter into BU2025 and to explore excellence, one of our values that has an impact on
- our learning environments
- our outcomes
- how we work
- how we engage with others
- how we inspire learning
It will be a great opportunity to share excellent practice.
The conference will also welcome back Geoff Ramm who will share even more ideas around the theme of celebrity service which we can then apply in all areas of our provision. “I have already implemented some of his ideas in my teaching practice” commented an academic who attended our previous conference.
More information will follow about the day, but academics are invited to register their places via Eventbrite as soon as possible as places are limited due to high demand.
We hope to see you in December to celebrate together Service Excellence at BU.
