On May 17th Dr Jenny Hall from CEL and the Centre for Qualitative Research presented a keynote at the joint 6th European Conference on Religion, Spirituality and health and 5th International Conference of the British Association for the Study of Spirituality.
The conference brought together clinicians, theologians, researchers and healthcare chaplains together from as far afield as the United States, Brazil and New Zealand. The concepts of forgiveness and reconciliation in relation to health and wellbeing were the main themes of the three day conference. Dr Hall presented some of her recent research on Guilt and Forgiveness among nursing and midwife practitioners and discussed links to their wellbeing. The content of the presentation raised some debate and interest on social media, as well as in the conference hall. The videoed presentation will be placed on the conference web pages soon.
