In this session we will discuss blended learning and flipped classroom using Brightspace. We will also discuss how to cut down on your marking time using audio feedback in turnitin.

TEL Toolkit
Come learn some of the apps and tools supported at BU that you can use to enhance learning in your classroom.
We will discuss Padlet, Linoit, Bristol Online Surveys, Panopto and other tools that you will find helpful in your classroom. These tools will make the learning experience more engaging for your students, and will enhance the teaching provision that you provide.
By the end of this workshop you will:
- Understand how to use Padlet and Linoit
- Have a basic knowledge of Bristol Online Surveys
- Have a basic knowledge of Panopto
- Be aware of the various other tools supported by the TEL toolkit

Social Media in the Classroom

Augmented and Virtual Reality
Ever wanted to know how to use Google Cardboard? How about creating your own AR/VR material? Want to see what it’s really like to ‘play’ with an Occulus Rift, then this session is for YOU!
At this session you will experience Google Cardboard, learn about AR/VR apps for your phone, and also have an opportunity to ‘play’ with the Occulus Rift
