Use this online resource to learn about blended learning

Bournemouth University have invested in a learning and teaching resource that encourages and supports tutors developing and delivering discipline based pedagogies enhanced by the use of technology.

The highlights of the module include:

  • Practical advice on how you can incorporate digital learning practices, regardless of your previous experience
  • An overview, provided by experts, on the range of technologies that can be used to support digital learning
  • Tips on creating video material, including writing a script

The digital learning module contains materials and quizzes to test your understanding.  The module provides easy to navigate and easy to digest structure:

The digital learning module is available via a myBU Community which means staff need to be logged into myBU to access it.  The module is available here or, alternatively, it is listed with the other communities in the myBU home screen once you have logged in.

Please work through the online materials for ideas and case studies for possible adoption in your own learning and teaching contexts.

Watch out for BU staff who contributed to this resource, Dr Gelareh Roushan, Dr Debbie Holley and Mr David Biggins lead the initiative from the BU University wide Technology Enhanced Learning Strategic Forum (TELSF) and the online module also showcases the excellent work of BU colleagues Dr Elvira Bolat and Dr Dawn Birch.
