Kelly Lissandra Bruch is Professor at the Faculty of Law at UFRGS and Vice-Director of CEPAN/UFRGS. She also serves as a Professor in the Postgraduate Programme in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation (PROFNIT) at the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS) and as a faculty member of the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) Academy.
Prof. Bruch is also Deputy Secretary for Technological Development at UFRGS. Her research focuses on intellectual property, particularly its application to agribusiness, including geographical indications and new plant varieties. Member of the International Wine Law Association (AIDV) and the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI). Additionally, she is an active member of the Special Commission on Intellectual Property of the Brazilian Bar Association, Rio Grande do Sul Section (CEPI/OAB-RS).
She holds a PhD in Law from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and Université Rennes I, with a postdoctoral fellowship in Agribusiness at the Centre for Studies and Research in Agribusiness (CEPAN/UFRGS).
