When applying for university, or even when your place is already secured, you might find yourself a bit confused, with so many questions that you want to ask. It might be that you’re not sure what to do about your accommodation, registration and enrolment, or where to find your timetable or how to register with a doctor.

Thankfully, Bournemouth University has a whole webpage with answers to all FAQs and contacts that you can use if you can’t find the information you need.

If you areconsidering studying at BU, then our Future Students Enquiry Team should be your first point of contact. You can get in touch with them in the following ways:

Opening times: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm (closed Tuesday 2-3pm).

If you are a current student,  the Bournemouth University help centre- AskBU is a one-stop-shop for student enquiries – open during term time and vacations.

You can contact them:

  • By phone – +44 (0)1202 969696
  • By email –  AskBU@bournemouth.ac.uk
  • By dropping-in to see them at The Base in Poole House, Talbot Campus or Bournemouth House Library, Lansdowne Campus

AskBU opening hours during vacation time

  • Monday – Thursday, 8.30am – 5pm* **
  • Fridays, 8.30am – 4.30pm

The friendly staff personally reply to every enquiry and aim to do so within two to three working days. During very busy periods this may increase to around 5 working days, but if your enquiry is urgent, don’t hesitate to just give them a call.

AskBU can answer questions about accommodations, finance and fees, immigration and visas, replacement documents, and pretty much everything else that you could possibly have a question about.
