Open Days are very important when it comes to choosing your course; it’s the perfect opportunity to experience Uni in a way that you’d never be able to by just reading about it. When you attend Open Days at BU there is a lot to see and do but also lots of current students in pink hoodies, our student ambassadors, to guide you through it all. Open Days are for you (and possibly your parents) Campus Tourto get all of your questions regarding the university and uni-life answered. The ambassadors have been in the same position as you, with the same enquiries, and will be more than happy to share their wisdom about everything from assignments and time management to nightlife or what to pack before coming to BU. Open Days are also the perfect time for getting to know the academic staff and asking any questions you have about your course.

Make sure to attend a guided tour of campus whilst you are here – the amazing atmosphere at BU is something that can only truly be experienced first-hand. You will be shown around the student village and given the option to go on a tour to see some of the options for accommodation at Lansdowne.

Whilst you are in Bournemouth for an Open Day you should also try to make time to see the town and enjoy some of the many restaurants/cafés – just to get a little taster of all of the possibilities that are here to enjoy during your time at BU!
