Redirection into a new career.
Why did you choose BU?
Renowned department, wonderful location and good university.
What are the best things about your course and academic experience overall?
Week long field course, the requirement to undertake placements for experience, consistent field trips throughout the year.
What are your favourite things about living and studying in Bournemouth?
The seaside, everything is close by, there are wonderful sites to visit outside as well.
What were your career aspirations before coming to BU and what are they now?
I was unsure, but now I know I’d like to become a ranger or work in conservation outreach.
How do you feel your experience at BU will help you in your future career?
Creating brilliant contacts will help throughout my career.

What piece of advice would you give to a prospective postgraduate student considering BU?
Visit the area first and make sure you love it!
