After completing a URA placement at ORI during summer 2016, I applied for a full time position back at the research institute. Working at ORI as an Undergraduate Research Assistant gave me an insight into a career as a researcher which I found really interesting. My new role is entitled “Orthopaedic Research Assistant” and although it is only my first week, I am excited for the projects that I am going to be involved in. There have been huge developments in the lab since I left in the summer, and I am looking forward to working with the GRAIL (Gait Real-Time Analysis Interactive Lab) with project manager, Shay Bahadori.
