Campus Sport is SportBU’s range of activities that are available to all BU and AUB students while the majority are also available to staff and the community. The aim is to offer a sporting activity for everyone. Whether it be allowing someone to play a sport they already love or giving them the opportunity to try something new. Everyone can choose between clubs, courses, Pay & Play and leagues.

Sport BU offers a wide range of facilities and activities form Yoga and Street Dance, drop in sessions of Basketball and Table- Tennis to courses of Snowboarding, Jiu Jitsu and Kayaking.

The Performance Sport teams are opportunity to excel, develop and access a large inclusive programme, representing BU in competitive sport. All teams compete in the British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) competition which organises inter-university sport between 165 universities throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. There are currently 19 Performance Sports at BU, made up of 60 teams.

The Gym and Fitness classes offered by Sport BU are for everyone from people with no experience to professional athletes. There are early morning, lunch and evening classes so it is easy to fit in a workout around your lectures or in your lunch break. At the moment, there are 50+ fitness classes that are free with the all-inclusive SportBU Membership.

The Campus sports allow any Staff, Student or community member the chance to take part in recreational sport without the obligations of long term registration. There are over 25 activities like Badminton, Boxing, Pole Fitness and Snowboarding that you can get involved with.

All in all, SportBU makes staying fit while being at university way easier. There is something for everyone no matter if you just want to try something new or to keep up with your favourite sport.
