A project commissioned by the Observatory of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) on the Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights has been awarded to CIPPM for a further four years, and will run from January 2025- December 2028.
The initial four-year project which ran from January 2021 was brought to a successful completion in December 2024 in collaboration with Milieu Consulting SPRL.
The extension of the funded project for a further four years from January 2025 – December 2028 will be led by Milieu Consulting SPRL with CIPPM as co-investigator.
The project, consisting of the core project team as well as a large network of national experts and voluntary expert reviewers, spanning 12 Member States, will continue to expand, update and consolidate the EUIPO’s eSearch Case Law system (database including key national case-law in the area of IP enforcement). In so doing, the project will take forward the work begun by the EUIPO in 2014 in collecting national key enforcement judgments from the Member States that are related to IPRs.
