On the 1st January 2013 the new BU Centre of Excellence in Learning was established.
The Centre of Excellence will build a Community of Practice around identifiable themes that are of strategic importance to BU.
Following an application and interview process, Kelly Goodwin from the School of Tourism has been appointed as a Theme Leader for the Centre.
Kelly will be the leader of the Employability, Work-based Learning and Professional Practice theme.
This is a tremendous achievement for Kelly and we all wish to support her in this exciting role, which is very much at the heart of what we do within the School of Tourism.
The launch event for this Centre of Excellence will be on Thursday 7th February and so we will be bringing you more information soon.
