I am so over the moon to be given the BU Blogs and Vlogs winner title, so much so that I wanted to write a little thank you on the microsite it all began on just a few months back.
Having been published on The Drum during my placement at IPM’s Agency of the Year, TLC Marketing, Bournemouth University reached out to me and that’s how I landed the role as Marketing Content Editor. Since then, it’s been a lot of fun working under both the Marketing Department and also the Student Ambassador programme in a role where I get to lead a team of student content creators and sell the uni experience to prospect BU students. It’s been so fun gaining more experience in marketing and even better to have done it for a brand I have loved and live through, after all our job is to show you what it’s really like to be a BU student and I’m glad we achieved this.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to fully promote the role to anyone interested in blogging/vlogging or wants to share their university experiences with the world. You can be on any degree, from any background and all topic ideas are welcomed into the content plan for the year. Fancy a little extra responsibility? Then go for my role as Editor and learn first hand how to organise content, distribute it among your team and enhance your copywriting skills by proofreading everyone’s work before it reaches our audiences’ screens. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing how far everyone has come and it’s such a cool community to be a part of. If you are interested I would encourage you to register your interest where our Marketing team will be in touch with further details on how you can apply in the next upcoming few months : https://app.geckoform.com/public/#/modern/FOEU0230Ju43LFfQ.
Massive thanks to my co-editor Emma Reynolds for all your support and encouragement, my student bloggers team for writing some great pieces and also the faculty for giving us this opportunity to grow as content creators. We have loved sharing the student experience through our own eyes because Bournemouth really is a fabulous place to study.
