As the hotel’s general manager, Mirevski will oversee the day-to-day operations of this prestigious 439-room landmark property, continuing to build upon the hotel’s reputation as a “home away from home” for the world’s most esteemed leaders, diplomats and heads of state. Stefan will spearhead all hotel operations with a focus on the development of new guest service programming and identification of revenue-driving sales and marketing initiatives. Positioned in the hotel’s leading role, Mirevski will build a high-performing executive team, motivating them to consider new tactics that will exceed guest satisfaction, improve operational productivity and enhance profitability in order to surpass property goals and push the hotel’s development forward as a top leisure and business destination in New York City.
No stranger to the Hilton family, Mirevski most recently served as general manager at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Crystal City National Airport hotel in Arlington, Virginia where he contributed to the strategic development of the hotel and garnered multiple award wins for improved guest experience, sales profit maximization and revenue growth. Previously, Mirevski held the role of director of operations at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner where he oversaw a $45 million property renovation and implemented a property-wide labor management and operational effectiveness project. As director of front office operations at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC, Mirevski managed the day-to-day operations and administration of the entire front office department.
Born and raised in Bulgaria, Mirevski’s hospitality career began in Europe, serving in managerial positions at prestigious hotels including the Forum Inter-Continental and Kapetanios Bay Hotel, both located on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. He holds a bachelor of arts with distinction in hospitality management from Bournemouth University in the UK, a degree from the College of Tourism and Hotel Management in Cyprus and a hospitality management diploma from the American Hotel and Lodging Association. Mirevski speaks five languages and enjoys skiing, tennis, golf, gardening and traveling with his family.
