Here’s a week in my life – in photos!
Day 1, Wednesday 3 February 2016
I study Television Production and am currently applying to work placements as part of my degree. Today I travelled to London as I was invited to an interview in Hammersmith! After the interview I met my mother and went to Bingo (guilty pleasure I must admit).
I also cooked my family dinner. The dinner is mixed bean enchiladas with yogurt and cheese topping. Ignoring the burnt edges they tasted very good!
Day 2, Thursday 4 February 2016
After a night at home, I travelled back to Bournemouth, went to the gym and then met my friends at Turtle Bay. I absolutely love that we have this restaurant here now. The food is awesome and the majority of the time the cocktails are 2-4-1!
Day 3, Friday 5 February 2016
Not as visually interesting, but today consisted of one lecture and seminar about our dissertations proposals, and another lecture and seminar about our up and coming multi-camera productions.
During a break in the day my seminar group also went to Dylan’s for lunch and had a meeting about our future studio shows.
Day 4/5, Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 February 2016
This weekend I have written an online article for Nerve Media about the Celebrity Big Brother Final… Of course I watched the entire series obsessively as I am the biggest reality TV fan! On Saturday I also went shopping, nothing too interesting although I did get some new posters for my uni bedroom. In the evening I went for drinks with friends and on Sunday I did some university work and went to the gym.
Day 6, Monday 8 February 2016
The second year of my course is spilt in two, while half the group goes on location, the other half stays in the studio. I just finished location production so have now swapped over to studio. As it has been a while since we have been in the studio we are currently undergoing refresher days to get used to the uni kit again. Here is my friend Arianna on the vision mixer desk and me on a camera.
Day 7, Tuesday 9 February 2016
Also known as PANCAKE DAY!!
Today Aphra and I made pancakes. Unfortunately I don’t have any images to show you, but I can tell you that they did turn out rather well and tasted delicious.
Also for absolutely no reason at all we both decided to die our hair pink… because… why not?
