A recent BA (Hons) Business Studies with Finance graduate has received a student prize from Condor Ferries for the best assignment looking into greenhouse gases. Christina, who collected her £500 award at her graduation ceremony in November, received the prize for her assignment looking into the measuring and reporting of greenhouse gases.
She said: “The assignment was to create a report to comment on the UK government initiatives aimed at measuring and reporting greenhouse gases.”
“We then had to discuss the successes and limitations of those initiatives and finally make a recommendation as to whether or not the requirement to report greenhouse gases should be extended to include households.”
She added:“I am very grateful to have received the award from Condor and to have my hard work recognised”
With the prize money, Christina plans to buy a tablet that she can use to help her prepare for interviews and assessment centres, to land herself her dream graduate job.
The Condor Ferries prize has been given to the student for the best environmental reporting assignment on the BA (Hons) Business Studies with Finance pathway, for the last four years.
